I’m a self-confessed bath-a-holic. I love bubble baths. I find them so relaxing and the perfect time to read and switch off from technology (after I dropped my phone in the bath and decided to never take any portable device within a 5 meter radius of water).
Lush does not help my bath addiction in any shape or form. I used to spend so much money on their products until I realised how stupid that really was. So now, I only buy Lush on special occasions – and Christmas is one of them!
The following five products are the ones I particularly have my eye on for the upcoming festive season…
Dashing Santa Bath Bomb
It wouldn’t be a Christmas bath without having something Santa shaped. I loved this bath bomb last year. It whizzes away in your bath, creating beautiful mixture of orange, pink and red. From what I can remember it has a fairly citrus-y smell to it, leaving you feeling silky soft and smelling fresh as ever. Ooh I love it.
Cinders Bath Bomb
This is the product that everyone goes crazy about every Christmas. It’s the infamous Christmas bath bomb from Lush. Cinders has the traditional Christmas smell – sweet, spicy and warm. It also has some popping candy to give that “sat by the crackling fire” feel to it.
Snow Melt Bath Melt
I haven’t tried this bath melt before – I’m not sure if it’s a totally new product to Lush or if I’ve just never come across it myself? The Lush website describes this as a peppermint and lemon scented bath melt with shea butter, that leaves your bath soft and dreamy.
For those wondering, a bath melt is something that slowly melts away as you pop it in your bath, unlike a bath bomb which fizzes and unravels straight away.
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
This is my favourite Lush product ever. Every year I break it into thirds so that I can squeeze in three good baths out of it. It smells like vanilla sweets, but not sickly sweet. And the bubbles are amaaaaazing. Ahh I love it. I wish it was an all year round product. But then, my bank account probably wouldn’t agree with it if it was.
Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar
I vaguely remember seeing this product last year, but was totally confused as to how it works and what it is. But after a little nose on their website, I’ve realised its just a bubble bar that you swirl under the tap and it bubbles away. I’m wondering how many times this can really be used? From what I can tell, this Magic Wand has the same “sweet” scent as Rock Star soap (which is heavenly). I’m going to give this a purchase purely out of curiosity.
