Here are a few beauty products I’ve been loving over this past month:
Mac Nail Varnish in Girl Trouble
My brother (shockingly) bought this for me as a Christmas present. He definitely hit the nail this time. It’s a light pink with subtle shimmer throughout. It hardly chips and looks great with any outfit. Two happy thumbs up from me (thanks James, I expect all of your presents to live up to this from now on…).
Batiste Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo is a love/hate kind of thing. (For those who don’t know, I can imagine my grandparents – my most regular Twinkle readers – being completely mind-boggled by what this is… It’s a powder that you spray on your hair and you rub it in and it freshens it up. So it’s shampoo but not in the shower.) I wouldn’t use this as an alternative to washing hair, just something to help freshen up dull, flat second day hair. It smells great and does the job. I sometimes actually prefer my second day hair to my first day hair now…
Ted Baker Body Mist
I’ve kept this cheeky little thing in my bag for the past few months and it serves me well. I used my final spray yesterday with great sadness. This stuff smells amaaaaazing. I always get compliments whenever I wear it. It’s 100 times cheaper than a perfume, and it’s small enough to carry around everywhere. I’ll definitely be getting myself another one.
Soap and Glory – Mother Pucker Lip Stick in Missing Pink
Okay, the name is verging on rude (apologies to grandparents, mother and any other sensitive readers…), but the actual product itself is gorgeous. It’s a cute, everyday colour and most importantly it’s not sticky!
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
This is the best make-up remover I’ve ever tried. My eyes are super sensitive, so removing eye make-up is a massive chore. This is the only product that doesn’t make me fear for the future of my eye-sight. It takes it all off in one wipe and leaves me feeling fresh and ready for bed. I cleanse my face after using this too, just to make sure I definitely have removed all of my foundation.
EOS Lip Balm in Grapefruit
I have been using EOS lip balms since I was 16. By far the best lip balms I’ve ever bought (and I’ve been through a fair few…). This flavour is amazing! You can buy these in Topshop now, which makes life so much easier because I always had to order them online.
Thank you for reading! Friday love to you all xxx
