As well as using a couple of new things in March, I actually found myself reaching for older products that I used to love but forgot about, and now I’m in love again!
Urban Decay – de-slick powder (£19.50)
This is a mattifying powder. I’ve used this product since I was 16 years old and it’s been my best friend ever since. It’s a white translucent powder that I apply on my t-zone to avoid oily/greasy looking skin. In the beginning of the month I went a day without using it and that day was horrendous (slight exaggeration maybe..). But it made me realise how much I love it! The price is a bit nasty but I think it’s definitely one of my favourite all-time products.
Pearl Drops – Ultimate Whitening Toothpaste (£3.52)
My friends, this is the key to white teeth. My dad (he’s a dentist) rolls his eyes at me using this product but it’s amazing! I promise this works. I’m a tea-aholic so I can’t go without this. I’ve used other whitening products in the past that are way more pricey and effort to use, and this is the only thing that has truly done the trick. Thank you Pearl Drops, thank you.
Jelly Pong Pong – All Over Glow Luminizer Gel (£10)
This came in my Glossybox a few months ago. I wasn’t massively impressed by the packaging so it got pushed to the back of my make-up drawer for a few weeks. This month I rediscovered it and decided to give it a go. This stuff is incredible! I apply it to the top of my cheek bones and just underneath my eyebrows. Such a cute glow. I reckon this tube will last me a long time too, due to a little product going a long way. I regret underestimating how good it would be.
Barry M – Gelly Hi-Shine Polish in Blueberry (£3.99)
I dug out this colour a few weeks ago and rekindled my love for it. Barry M is a massivle underrated brand for nail polishes – especially their new range of Gelly Hi-Shines!
Soap&Glory – The Righteous Butter (£10)
My secret to soft skin is using this bad boy in the shower. Not only does it smell amazing, but it leaves me soft and fresh. I double it up with a shower gel and then also use it as a shaving cream for my legs. So soft. So good.
L’Oreal – Infalliable Mattifying Base (£7.99)
After running out of my Benefit Porefessional primer (still a sore wound 🙁 ), I was on the hunt for a cheaper alternative. I umm-ed and ahh-ed in Boots for a good half-hour. I was a bit annoyed at myself for not researching a good primer beforehand. But I came across this product, which looked promising. It was reasonably (sort of) priced, so I decided to buy it. It hasn’t let me down. I almost can’t tell the difference between this and Porefessional, apart from the price – which says a lot.
