My favourite little box did a great job at cheering me up on my grey Monday morning. Now, I don’t mean to upset anyone (because I just know how much you all love these posts 😉 ) but this may be my last ever Gossybox. There is a possibility that I have another one arriving in December, but I really can’t remember when I cancelled my subscription so I’ve lost track of my months.
But we’ll find out soon enough. Here’s what I received in this month’s box!
Emite – Diamon Heart Primer (£25.90)
As you all know, I tend to gravitate towards the more expensive products within box each month. I’m a massive fan of applying a primer before my concealer and foundation. I always feel like it makes such a difference to how my make-up looks and how long it lasts. I currently use L’Oreal Infallible Primer and it works really well. This pricey little number looks promising. The description that it came with says this – ‘Primers underpin a great base and this lightweight formula is no exception. The peachy fluid balances skin tone, boosts radiance and creates a smooth finish, perfectly prepping skin for the day ahead’.
MUA – Eyeshadow Palette (£4)
There was a stage in my life where I had an obsession with nude eye-shadow palettes. I love this. I think it’s perfect for girls who are just starting out with the whole make-up thing. The colours are neutral, and what I like to think “safe colours” – you can’t really go that wrong in applying them. It’s an amazing price for the amount you’re getting, but you may just need to buy a brush to use it with as the one included in this palette is a little bit rubbish.
Royal Apothic – Body Lotion (£14.50)
This is my favourite product in the box. The smell is incredible! It’s so soft, dreamy and most important of all, it doesn’t leave any remaining stickiness. It’s also the perfect size to keep in my handbag – yay.
Revlon – Super Lustrous Lipstick (£7.99)
This is in the colour 720 – a super vibrant red. I love the lipstick itself but I hate the colour. I just don’t suit red and it annoys me so much because I really wish it did. The lipstick is smooth and applies easily. It’s moisturising without looking oily. I’m really tempted to go buy myself one in a shade that would look better on me…
Eylure – Nautral Lashes
I don’t wear false eyelashes for two reasons. I’m really, really bad at putting them on and they look really, really, weird on me. So I don’t feel that I can properly comment on these as I don’t have a clue about what makes good eyelashes etc. I have a friend in mind who I’m going to give these to, hopefully they’ll know better than I do.
