It’s that time of the month again – yay! I was so excited for this month’s box (when am I not?), as I’d heard it was valued at over £60 and all the products are full size. I can say that when it came to my door on Saturday morning, it really didn’t disappoint.
The biggest product in my box this month was this Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque. Firstly, this mask smells like strawberry sweets which is already a win for me. The description say that it’s packed with nourishing, strengthening and protecting ingredients that enhance both coloured and natural hair, it will give you the glossiest locks ever! In shops this mask costs £18.95. I’m excited to try it out this week.
The next thing that caught my eye was the Nails Inc nail polish, priced at £11. This is a khaki colour, which is interesting. In a way I’m glad because I don’t already own a colour like this but I’m also a bit weary that it will look like I’ve gone and rubbed mud on my nails. I’ll apply it this week and hope for the best!
I’m one of those people who only ever wear natural coloured eye-shadows, so when I saw the Bellapierre shimmer powder in the box in a glittery grey shade I was initially a bit disappointed. This usually costs £12.99, which makes me think I definitely need to try it out. On a day that I’m not seeing anyone I’m going to try it on and see what I can do with it – hopefully I won’t look like I’ve fallen into a glitter puddle.
To accompany the eyeshadow, Glossybox also sent me a Marsk eyeshadow brush pro. I think this is my favourite item in the box this month! This brush is soooooo soft and looks like the perfect size. It’s priced at £16.70, which I have admittedly never even considered paying for an eyeshadow brush… I’ll be sure to get back to you all on this one!
And lastly, I was sent three grey Invisibobbles. I have always wanted to try one of these ever since one of my friends got one and constantly raved about it. I totally didn’t understand the concept. It’s meant to be a hair-tie that doesn’t leave a kink. It has been made to prevent any damage or breakage to the hair. I wore this on Sunday and I’m feeling a slightly torn about it. I love the fact that it’s traceless and that it doesn’t hurt! Usually when I have my hair in a pony, the hair-tie tugs at my hair and it gives me a mild headache by the end of the day (is that normal?). But I hate the colour! Why have they sent me a grey one?? A pack of three of these cost £4, which in my opinion is a bit expensive for three hair-ties…
