As a self-confessed readaholic, my mind is constantly thinking about the next book I want to read. I thought we could be cute and read the same books together. Here’s my list. Pick a book and read it and then we can talk about it and be best friends.
The Woman Who Stole My Life – Marian Keyes
I have loved Marian Keyes since I was 14 years old. This is her newest book and I have been itching to get my hands on it. The only thing stopping me is what I’ve heard. The reviews on Amazon are awful! I’m hoping that when I do eventually read it, I don’t get massively disappointed. Marian pleeeeeease don’t let this be a flop.
Sons Of Encouragement – Francine Rivers
I have been meaning to read this one for a while but Francine Rivers’ books are soooooo expensive, so I try to space it out. This book is about 5 male biblical characters: Aaron, Caleb, Jonathan, Amos, and Sila. Francine writes each of their stories in a novel format. I read the female version last year (A Lineage of Grace), which still has me thinking. I recommend these books if you’re interested in getting to know bible stories better, especially if you love reading.
The One Plus One – Jojo Moyes
I have been into Waterstones and eyed this book up so many times. I know it’s going to be good because a) I’ve heard great things and b) I loved Me Before You. I just get her style of writing. She’s one of the people who make me want to sit down and write my own book in one sitting.
How To Fall In Love – Cecelia Ahern
I bought this baby on Kindle last night and as soon as I’m finished writing this post I’m going to go to my happy place and read it. At the moment I’m a bit obsessed with Cecelia Ahern. I just want to read everything she’s ever written, which makes me feel bad because I’m neglecting all the other books in the world. Ahhhh.
Life is – Judah Smith
Judah Smith is the guy who drew me into church three/four years ago. He was preaching in London at Hillsong and I just fell in love with everything he was saying. He got me interested in who God is and what He does. I read his last book “Jesus is” as soon as it came out and it did not disappoint. It’s such an easy read, I finished it in less than a day and most importantly it had me thinking for ages. I can’t wait to read this newest book.
