Don’t be silent
Acts 18:9-11 – One night the Master spoke to Paul in a dream: “Keep it up, and don’t let anyone intimidate or silence you. No matter what happens, I’m with you and no one is going to be able to hurt you. You have no idea how many people I have on my side in this city.” That was all he needed to stick it out. He stayed another year and a half, faithfully teaching the Word of God to the Corinthians.
I love this verse. It has so much power. Not only did God’s word give power to Paul’s calling, but it can also give us power to ours. Whatever God has called you to do will always have opposition of some sort. The devil hates it when any of us walk the path that God has set out for us, and he will do anything to side track us. One of his most common tactics is fear.
But in those moments when you’re filled with fear and doubt, let God’s whisper into your heart – Keep it up… Don’t let anyone intimidate or silence you… No matter what happens, I’m with you… No one can hurt you…
Walk in God’s calling with confidence that He is faithfully standing by your side.
Don’t let anyone silence you.
