Walk with Him
Psalm 78:52-53 – He brought his people out like a flock, he led them like sheep through the desert. He guided them safely, so they were unafraid.
In the last few years, my devotion time with God has revealed to me what a romantic God He really is. Not in a romance movie, chick-flick way, but in a relentlessly pursuing the heart type of way. He is a faithful God, so in love with us, His heart filled with plans for us.
As I was praying this morning, I had a vision of myself and Bradley walking down a path holding hands. God was walking right in front of us. What was down the road was hard to see in the darkness but as we were walking, He lit up the path in front of our feet. Every so often, He would turn around to smile at us. He was encouraging us with a heart-warming yes, this way….
After my prayer, I opened one of my older Bibles and a piece of paper fell out. It had this verse written across it. I thought it was perfect for my moment with God. Isn’t He just the most faithful Father? Oh, how blessed are we that He leads the way ahead of us. We don’t have to fear because He is walking with us! Never does He leave us alone. Never do we have to walk alone.
It doesn’t matter how uncertain the path ahead may look, God is still with you. He will lead you through any storm, any battle and up any steep mountain top. Your faithful Father is with you and He knows the way.
