In the front page of my Bible I keep a post-it note. I keep it there for a reason. Whenever I’m facing a tough day, a difficult season or whatever it may be – I open my Bible to find that note.
Philippians 4:13 –
Whatever I have,
wherever I am,
I can make it through anything
in the One who makes me who I am.
I need the daily reminder that Christ is my strength, and that He is carrying me through whatever I am going through. I don’t need anything or anyone else other than Him. He made me who I am, and He made me so for a reason. Whatever I am going through has a reason behind it. All I can do is fix my eyes on His and let Him hold me.
He holds the world, so why wouldn’t I trust him in holding my heart?
Read through the verse slowly and declare it over your day. Declare it over your week, month, year and life. Write it in your journal, bible and most importantly write it on your heart. You can make it through anything in the One who made you who you are.
