What is in your heart?
Matthew 12:34 – The mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Jesus tells this to the Pharisees, who were busy plotting – planning how they were going to kill Him. They were feeding lies about Him claiming Him to be the prince of demons.
The Pharisees were using words of bitterness, anger and deceit. It’s easy to see that what they were saying about Jesus, reflected what was going on in their heart. They were annoyed that Jesus was performing miracles – it made them angry and full of revenge.
What are you saying?
Are the words coming out of your mouth positive? Are you complaining? Are you worrying? Are you speaking words of doubt? Are you saying negative things about other people?
As you speak today, remember that your mouth is reflecting the contents of your heart. Speak faith. Speak a bold declaration over your life. Speak positivity. Speak love, joy and encouragement. Compliment without thinking twice. Speak good things over your own life and all of those around you.
Watch how changing how you speak, changes your heart and ultimately your life.
