Who is this?
Matthew 21:10 – When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “who is this?”
Just before He entered Jerusalem, Jesus told two of his disciples to go ahead of him and bring back a donkey for Him. They came back, and placed some cloaks on the donkey for Jesus to sit on. They lead Him and the donkey into Jerusalem.
The crowds saw Him coming and then cut off branches from the trees and threw them on the ground as the donkey walked through. The crowds praised His name, worshiping Him.
That’s when the other people who saw all of this wondered who He was, and why He was so worthy of being praised.
Is how you’re praising Jesus making people ask who He is?
Is your walk with Him making other people want to walk with Him too?
Is your faith in who He is speaking for you?
That was Jesus’ goal on earth – to make people wonder who He was. He wants people to find out exactly who He is. Let’s make that our goal on earth too – to make people ask who our Saviour is.
