Turn a worry into a prayer
Philippians 4:6-7 – Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the centre of your life.
Our human instinct is to worry. As soon as a situation arises, the possible negative outcomes start popping up in our minds. We fret over the what if’s. Sometimes we worry so much that we limit ourselves, or completely miss out on an opportunity altogether.
Without realising it, our little worries can turn into larger worries, and eventually we can create our own limitations and insecurities.
God’s will for our lives is to trust Him fully. He wants us to be able to have faith to place our worries straight into His hands. We do that by praying for Him to have His will, and for peace in our hearts.
Whenever you find yourself worrying, turn the worry into a prayer. Take the worry and leave it at His feet, trusting Him with it. He is perfect and knows all things, He can take any situation and make it good.
