John 21:25 – Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
Wouldn’t you love to know all of those things? I wish that I could sit down and hear everything. I would want to hear about the encounters He had with people one-on-one. What He said to them, what He did, and how it changed their life. I would want to know about all of the diseases and bones He healed. I would want to know everything about Him, the way He walked, the way He talked and the way He loved without limits. What must that be like in the flesh?
In the same way that we will probably never know all of the things Jesus did on earth, we will probably never know all of the things He did and is doing in our own lives.
I believe that He’s protecting us from things we can’t see. He’s healing us from things we’ll never know about. He’s loving us more than we can ever imagine.
Jesus is so powerful, so gracious and so mighty, that He’s totally incomprehensible. Our human minds will never be able to calculate all of who He is and what He does because our minds are too small and too limited. He is Lord and we are only human.
Today, thank Him for the things He’s doing and going to do that you can’t see. Thank Him for the things that you don’t understand. Thank Him for the closed doors and the bumps along the way that lead you closer to Him without you even realising it.
