I have been meaning to write a post like this for months! As I was showing my friend, Lucy, around Oxford today I thought that it was the perfect opportunity to document it and show you all my favourite things to do in my favourite place.
We started our day in Oxford with a coffee date – because that’s how every day should start. The best coffee shops (in my opinion) are found on Cowley Road. I took Lucy to the Bear and the Bean, one of Cowley Road’s newest and trendiest coffee shops.
After successfully forcing Lucy to try a Chai Latte, which she loved, we walked our way down to Magdalen Bridge for punting! Punting is a must when visiting Oxford.
We were then ready for a lunch break. One of my all time favourite places to go is Georgina’s in the Undercover Market, which is also a great place to walk around and nose in and out of the strange but wonderful shops.
Last but not least, we walked around the town center. I took Lucy to a dainty little shop filled with everything cute. There are quite a few of these throughout Oxford – so in order to find them all you need a good wander around.
Our day ended far too quickly, but it was so wonderful. Thank you Lucy for being the perfect tourist! I look forward to future visits 🙂
(And thank you Bradley for being the best professional punter)
