My first favourite for this week is definitely time to myself. Recently I’ve found myself getting busier and busier, which up until now meant that I was behind on the little things and most of all just tired! So for the past couple of days I gave myself the permission to not feel guilty about having time to myself. I made no plans and focused solely on my writing and probably a bit too much reading. I’m currently reading Unrooted by Naomi Novik. It’s so magical and far too addictive. I’m sure I will write a proper review on it very soon!
My mum and I went for a quick trip to Milton Keynes yesterday morning. I picked up this jumper from Zara. I went to try it on, not entirely convinced that it would suit me. Unfortunately for my bank account, the flattering stripes, comfortable fit and the softness of the material drew me in. My bad.
I meant to put this in my Friday Favourites a few weeks ago but I totally forgot. These are the shoes I wore to Bradley’s graduation. I was freaking out the day before, aware that I had no shoes to wear with my black dress. I didn’t want to wear heels (I hate them and I’d also be taller than Bradley if I wore them, but he doesn’t like talking about it so let’s not dwell too much on that), so I set out to find some formal looking black shoes. I found these in Tesco for £10. Yay!
I went digging through the photo albums this week and found this gem. This was Chips, my faithful and chirpy friend. I firstly love the pose we’re both modelling. I secondly love my great haircut and thirdly how can I not love the shiny silver top (I seriously used to be obsessed with it. All I ever wore!).
