I found it hard to limit myself with today’s Friday Favourites. I’ve been loving so many new things recently, but the following are my absolute, top, top, top five.
Victoria’s Secret Body Mist in Amber Romance
I promised myself I wouldn’t buy anything from Victoria’s Secret when I went to London this week. But I really, really couldn’t help myself when I smelt this. Oh my, it’s amazing. Perhaps one of my favourite scents of all the VS scents (of which there are many…). It’s so fresh and I can’t get enough of it.
Colouring for Grown-Ups
I stole this from my mum yesterday. I wanted something to do whilst listening to a podcast. This is sooo relaxing and so satisfying. I would get myself one, but my mum loves to share…
The Chance by Karen Kingsbury
Oh my gosh, I can’t begin to tell you how many times I cried reading this. I read it in two days and during the short periods of time I wasn’t reading it, my mind was stressing out. I needed to know what was going to happen. This is a beautiful love story that grips your heart and leaves you wanting more and more and more. If you love Francine Rivers, you’ll love Karen Kingsbury. This is my favourite book by her so far.
Bradley and I have recently decided that we need to set aside time every week for time together. We usually get bombarded with things to do and people to see, and even though most of the time we’re in the same place, we never actually spent much time together alone. So last week we went on our first date day in a while and it was amazing. He surprised me with this rose (and a tea) in the morning and my day was already made. I love love and I love him.
I stumbled across this shop with my friend, Emily. We weren’t sure what it was but we were more than sure we were going to love it. And we did… We probably spent over half an hour just walking around going “look at this!!!!”. This shop is amazing – it’s filled with fun junk for a ridiculously low price. I bought the giant peg for £2 and the little container box thing for £1 (perfect size for rings!). They’re both totally unnecessary but for the price, they’re totally worth it.
