This past week I’ve been getting myself cosy. For once I’ve started to enjoy the slight drop in temperature, although I’m sure I won’t enjoy it when it drops further. I dug out my Christmas leggings (it’s never too early, my friends) and I’ve been enjoying my bubble baths. I have basically been giving September a big, fat welcome.
My trusty Christmas leggings are from Tesco. I bought them last year for around £10 and we’ve been best friends ever since. Let me just emphasize that Christmas leggings aren’t to be worn outside in public, just in case anyone gets the wrong idea…
My fluffy slippers are also a Tesco purchase. They cost £8 and I bought them two days ago. My little piggies have never been so comfy.
My current favourite nail polish is a subtle baby pink. It’s just a little bit softer and lighter than my usual favourite. My mum bought this for me for my birthday. It’s called Ballet Slippers by Essie. Admittedly it took three coats for it to actually look visable, but I love it nonetheless. I’ve had it on my nails for about a week now and they haven’t chipped at all. The colour is so cute too – I’m thinking it will look perfect for wedding day nails.
This was another present – Intergalactic bath bomb by Lush. I can’t really explain how magical my bath looked with this in it. It was literally like a galaxy. I didn’t take a photo though because I now have a fear of taking my phone near any water at all after my last one drowned – sorry!
I looooooooove Lauren Scruggs. Her story is amazing (if you haven’t read it, her first book is called Still Lolo). This is her Bible Study, which she published a few months ago. I read it a while ago and now I’m finally going to be starting it with my lovely Youth girls this Sunday! I’m beyond excited.
