Friday is never fun without a Friday Favourites so here I am on my Friday showing you all my favourite things. So far I’ve written Friday four times. I’ll stop now, I promise.
My first favourite is this nail polish – Essie’s Cocktail Bling. I can’t decide if it’s more blue or grey? But I’m going to settle with grey because I own too many blue nail polishes already. Before you say “oh no not another nail polish purchase this week Mieke!”, I promise that this is an old one! I bought this about a year and a half ago and to be honest I didn’t give it as much love as I should have. It’s such a cute colour and it goes with everything = Happy Mieke.
I wasn’t going to mention this but it’s just so pretty (and I really needed some pink in the main photo). I found this 2016 weekly planner at TK Maxx yesterday for £5! I thought this would be perfect for upcoming birthday/Christmas presents. It’s pretty, pink and practical. Could it be more perfect?
Okay this isn’t just a weekly favourite, this Mac Lipstick in Velvet Teddy is a life favourite. This is the lip colour that Kendall Jenner wears and to be honest I’ve had my eye on it for months. I used one of my Birthday gift vouchers to treat myself a few weeks ago and my lips have thanked me for it. It’s the perfect nude (but not scary nude) shade that goes with everything.
I started reading And The Shofar Blew by Francine Rivers the other day and it’s already become one of those books that I can’t stop thinking about. Rivers is one of my all time favourite authors. I have loved every single book of hers that I’ve read so far, so I knew I would enjoy this but I really didn’t think it would be that good. It’s a story about a church – which makes it sound dull but it’s really everything but. There’s so much wisdom in this novel! When I’m reading it I feel like I should be taking notes but then I’m too in love with the storyline to stop reading. Ahhhh. I’m a third of a way through at the moment and I’m trying my best not to read it too fast.
Must. Make. Book. Last.
Have a lovely weekend, friends!
