On Friday evening, we had our second ever Young & Free night (Y&F = Youth) in Oxford. Our church’s Youth and Worship team worked together for over a month to make this night as good as we possibly could. On the night itself I actually found myself getting a tad emotional (as I do) at how far we’ve come. It was only a small venue but I felt like it it was the start of something huge. It’s safe to say that I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead.
PS. Thanks to Susie for taking these photos on the night.
Saturday was the first day that I’ve had totally to myself in over a month. I had no plans whatsoever and I loved it. I spent the day in bed (no shame) and caught up with my favourite blogs and read an entire book (no shame).
Oh and I painted my nails with a polish from Nails Inc in the colour Battersea Park. I received it in my Glossybox a couple of months ago and forgot I owned it until now. The colour seems to be a love/hate colour for most people.
Sunday (my favourite day) was spent in church with the best people. All the girls wore crowns as it’s Sisterhood United this coming Friday (if you’re a girl and you’re around Oxford, you should definitely check it out – http://bit.ly/1lsHJdG).
I also had to say goodbye to one of my besties, CJ. She’s jet setting off to Michigan for half a year, much to my dismay. But she’s a star and stars need to do what they do best and shoot away, shine and dazzle. She’s back in time for the wedding and that’s all that matters!
