The past two days have left a massive smile on my face that just won’t go away. As always (much to the embarrassment of all my friends) I took way too many photos.
Saturday, a few friends and myself stood awkwardly on Oxford High Street handing out flyers for our church service the next day. We got to wear the brightest red jackets you’ll ever have seen in your life. All four of us had to let go of our fear of rejection pretty swiftly in order to actually get rid of the hundreds of little cards we had.
Sunday was our church’s first ever Sunday service! We had it in a fancy little cinema in Oxford and it was amazing. 400 people turned up and we all had a hoot praising Jesus. After this, we headed to my boyfriend’s home town to celebrate his baptism. My little heart was filled with pride seeing him up on stage telling his story. The day also made me realise how amazing my friends are. As well as making me laugh until my cheeks hurt (Josh, here’s your special shout out), they’re the most supportive people I know. I could see that they were just as proud of Bradley as I was. How lucky am I to have all of these people in my life?
