I feel like everytime I blink it’s a Wednesday. I also feel like on all the other days of the week I have thousands of WW blog post ideas, but when it actually comes to the Wednesday I’m sat here a bit clueless about what to say. It’s hard because I have so many things to talk about, but I want to keep them secret until the big day. So I reckon that Wedding Wednesday will drastically improve once the wedding has actually taken place…
Anyway, back to today. This morning we met with our wedding photographers (how exciting!). Bradley’s cousin, Hannah is a lovely photographer (literally – http://www.thelovelyphotographers.com). We knew pretty much straight away that she would be taking photos of our wedding. She has been encouraging me in my writing for a while now, and that in itself really means something to me. I know that she knows that part of me, and if she knows that and likes that then I trust her with my wedding photos. If that makes sense? Her and Chrissy (the other photographer) are both so friendly, and as we started talking this morning I instantly knew we had made the right decision in choosing them. Feeling comfortable with the people who are taking photos of the biggest day of your life is pretty important, in my opinion anyway.
I’m really, really excited to be able to show you the photos they take of the wedding. But obviously, we’ll have to wait another few months until I can do that. So for today’s post I thought I would show you where Bradley and I are wanting to have our “individual/without the bridal party & family” photos taken.
This is Houghton House, in Ampthill. I’m not sure why, but these old ruins have a weirdly special place in my heart. I think it’s because my school bus drove past it every day. There’s just something really magical and enchanting about the place, especially in the summer.
It’s cute isn’t it?! Looking at these photos is making me so excited.
